E bay has provided an upgraded pair of wheels in time for the next event in the Walrus/Otter Series - The Stirling Duathlon.
No water involved on Sunday, just cycling and running.
The Otter is compromised by:
1. No swimming.
2. No women in Lycra probably only shorts to chase after.
3. No road bike, having to make do with mountain bike tyres on the road.
4. No-train week due to a bad case of shellfish bottom, unless it was a mouthful of effluent in last weeks Jobbie Aquathon.

But knowing of these handicaps, will it still bring you happiness in victory?
Where have all the roof, recalcitrant liners and chimney adventures gone?
Sorry mate it's all one track now - "To infinity and beyond!!"
The Snoring Man, The Editor has become quite fixated recently, scourng the depths of eBay for any addition to his armoury of speed enhancing aids. There was some discussion surrounding steroids the other day.
The winter season is approaching, so I'm sure there will be a significant increase in cold climate related Chimney World events.
What about the Monikie Winter Series?
Sorry, The Snoring Man, I spoke too soon.
I see, maybe the chimney work gets done even faster these days to allow time for the Main Project, everyones a winner.
Its a bit like that guy that used to be in the police and kept two diaries - inner and outer but never mentioned anything about police work.
"Nothing to see here, move along now!"
